You may not love this “Hallmark” holiday, but you sure can’t ignore it. Chances are you will have (or already had) a few memories pop to the surface. Let’s send you back in time this week to relive some of those great times or use what you know now to teach some folks a lesson.
Dam Burst: You are given a unique opportunity to go back and talk to a much younger you. What would you tell them about an old flame? And better yet—why? (We’re not trying to screw up your holiday. Please feel free to be completely fictional with this story.)
Wet Feet: Take a moment to reflect; then write a Valentine to your grade school/middle school crush. What would you tell them? Of course, with hindsight being 20/20, what should you have said back then?
Do try to have fun with this. Or, let it all out. After all, it is only a writing prompt, right? *wink*
Word count is always 600 for the weekly prompts. Write your response, then come back and link it up below before next Sunday!

Mine rather accidentally became a poem about my old love.
Uh oh… should we be scared?
I think I was in a bit of a darker place this week. I would say enjoy my link-up…but I won’t.
I went well over the 600 word limit . . . as a matter of fact, I almost doubled it.
I just couldn’t help it this week, there was so much to say.
Shame on you.
Just try not to do it too often on the weekly prompts. Gotta make sure others can get around to as many people as possible.
This is my first link up here at StoryDam. I hope to link up more often here
Welcome! And we hope you can participate more also.
