What area of writing are you having trouble with? Is it with characters? Scenes? Plotting? Is it getting your butt into the seat and putting your pen to the page or your fingers to the keyboard? Let’s do some timed writing today and blast through what you are having trouble with. There is nothing else like writing through it.

eye-see-you (1)Want to dress it up… put on some music and dance with your story for five to ten minutes and then sit your derriere down and write whatever comes up. Ask your characters questions, even better what would your characters ask you?

Writing Prompt:

What would your characters ask you? Set your timer and write for ten minutes, if the words are flowing don’t stop but if they are stopped at the end of the ten minutes then get up and dance to one song and then sit to write for ten more minutes. You can do it, you can get your story written. I believe in you.
