Y is for Yes

Many opportunities come your way whether you recognize them or not. Saying yes to these opportunities is important for you to move forward in your writing career (even if you consider it a hobby at this time). Say yes to writing challenges, say yes to entering to writing contests, say yes to writing every day (or the schedule you keep for yourself), say yes to working with others on a writing project, say yes to helping other writers along the way as well as many other yeses that are going to help you take your writing to the next level. Say yes even if it terrifies you. Say yes even if you aren’t sure how you are going to accomplish it because you can figure it out along the way.

What yes did you say no to and now wish you would have said yes? Are you going to say yes to the opportunities to expand and grow as a writer?

  1. We always feel like we never have time for anything but it’s amazing how you can make time when you just say ‘yes’ to everything. Love this word!
