StoryDam Book Club – Time to Vote

StoryDam Book Club just finished reading, You Are A Writer by Jeff Goins, I hope you enjoyed working through it as much as I did! We are moving on to our next book so that means it’s time to take a vote!

Our first book up is;

1. 30 Day Book Marketing Challenge by Rachel Thompson

Yes, this is good if you already have a book out there but it is also good if you are going to release a book in the next 6 months or so.

Our second book of possibilities;

2. The Story Works Guide to Writing Character by Alida Winternheimer

I haven’t even begun to read this one but it has some great reviews. I know I can use some help creating characters.

And our third book on this writing journey;

3. Writing Vivid Emotions by Rayne Hall

Another I’m interested in reading but haven’t read yet. Definitely looks like something that could be beneficial for creating a compelling story.

Now it is time for you to decide which book you’d most like to work through with us for the next 4 weeks or so. Give us your vote in the comments below.

We are always on the look out for new books to read, make sure you share your favorites in the comments to vote on in the future!

NaNoWriMo is coming!

I have decided to participate in NaNoWriMo this year and I’m personally working through, Mapping Your Hero’s Journey with Tarot by Arwen Lynch and the ebook, Write a 30 Day Novel by Tara Maya. This doesn’t have anything to do with the book club but if you are a planner and are going to participate in NaNoWriMo join me! I will be posting my progress in the StoryDam Facebook group and you can share how your planning is going as well!

Time for a vote!

What is your choice? 1. 30 Day Book Marketing Challenge, 2. The Story Works Guide to Writing Character, or 3. Writing Vivid Emotions?

Hope you have a wonderful week of reading, dancing, and writing!
